N-(N-.beta.-Boc-aminoethyl)-Gly-OEt (N-(N-. Boc-aminoethyl.-Gly-OEt)) is a compound with the following properties and uses:

Use:
- N-(N-.beta.-Boc-aminoethyl)-Gly-OEt are mainly used as intermediates in organic synthesis. It is commonly used in the synthesis of amino acids with protecting groups, as well as in the synthesis of peptides and proteins.
Preparation Method:
N-(N-.beta.-Boc-aminoethyl)-Gly-OEt were prepared as follows:
1. Condensation of glycine with tert-butyl hydroxymethyl carbonate and reaction under alkaline conditions to generate N-tert-butyl hydroxymethyl glycine.
2. Reaction of N-tert-butylhydroxymethylglycine with ethanol to produce N-[2-(tert-butoxycarbonylamino) ethyl] glycine ethyl ester.
3. Finally, the resulting product is reacted with hydrochloric acid to form N-(N-.beta.-Boc-aminoethyl)-Gly-OEt.
